August 30th, 2008 marked the grand opening of the newest hot spot to hit Glendale Westgate.
Saddle Ranch Chop House, opened it's doors to the public at the Westgate City Center. This Rock-Western establishment originated on Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California and has recently branched out to Arizona. There are now 2 locations in Arizona, Scottsdale and most recently at Westgate City Center in Glendale. Hours of operation are 8am-2:30am 365 days a year serving breakfast, lunch and dinner not to mention a wide variety of specialty drinks. Saddle Ranch offers a fun atmosphere, great service, cool guests and huge portions of food, this place will be one you won't want to miss and once you go you will be hooked!! Don't miss out on their desert menu which features their one of a kind "Create your own S'mores platter"...you have to try this one; In a unique camp-out style, they deliver a platter marshmallows, graham crackers, chocolate bars, caramel and chocolate sauces...but wait it gets better, you then create your own S'more-delight over one of several outdoor campfires. As if that wasn't enough, did I mention the 3 foot-tall creation known as the "Cotton Carnival"...whether you're 5 or 45 this will take you back to the good'ol days and make anyone feel like a kid again. A 3 foot-tall mountain of PINK COTTON CANDY, towering over a platter full of chocolate chip cookies, chocolate cake, fresh strawberries, bananas and whipped cream!!!
BUT WAIT IT GETS EVEN BETTER, did I mention the "BULL"...yes that's right...they have a mechanical BULL!!! You can't pass up a good Bull-Ride and it seems that most people agree.
