Room 101 Jewlery - Looks With Quality 'Rockin' Attitude-

I have hit the jackpot in sterling silver rock-n-roll jewelry with attitude. Room 101 is utterly hands down the paramount collection.

The Room 101 jewelry line was created by a bass player, marine and all around bad boy Matt Booth. His designs are edgy and unique proving music can certainly influence the imagination. Matt says he “relocated back to Hollywood in 2000 to pursue music (bass player) and stumbled on to jewelry through my involvement in the music scene and
immediately became obsessed and started tinkering with the craft.”  Room 101 was born in 2003 and is approaching its 5 year anniversary.

Let’s talk about craftsmanship. The jewelry is a cut above most; the pieces are substantial, and well-made. It’s comfortable to wear, attention to detail is unsurpassed. The line is also progressing into fine jewelry where focus is quickly shifting from plain silver to diamond and other precious stone items in 18K and platinum.

In short, I bought a ring, love it and know you will too.

Here’s the official scoop from the source:

Room 101 was originally founded in 2003 by musician Matt Booth, whose obsession with custom jewelry inspired him to create his own brand.

While deployed to the Far East as a U.S. Marine, Matt was overwhelmingly impressed by the rich culture he found there. He returned to the States, but remained touched by the entire experience. Years later, this trip would prove to be the catalyst for the creation of the FU, the icon of the Room 101 Collection.

It is this fusion of Asian Influence coupled with many nights of soaking up the vibes on the Sunset Strip that give Room 101 its foundation in both style and design.

The Room 101 Collection is comprised of designs that will stand the test of time - designs that share a common ground with the uncommon sense of fashion intrinsic to an artist, but can easily be appreciated by all. Equally as proud of our collection, as of our fans and family, the diversity of our clientele speaks for itself. Members of the Room 101 Conspiracy represent from the Corporate Boardroom to the Stage. There is something here for everyone, no matter who you are.

Over the past three years, Room 101 has been featured in top lifestyle, fashion, and specialty magazines worldwide, and has made appearances on major network television.

With the momentum steadily increasing, and our markets, foreign and domestic, continuing to grow, Room 101 is carried in select boutiques worldwide.

Additionally, we continue to earn an ever-growing celebrity client base.

Just as our vision is constantly evolving, so is the comprehensiveness of the Room 101 Collection. We continue to expand outside the realm of jewelry design. New additions to the collection include a custom Golf Bag Line and custom-made knives. Future plans include a tailored suit and cashmere line as well as custom instruments.

Room 101 is far more than a brand, it is a lifestyle.

Pin-Up: Rockin Your Style

What do you think about pinup style? I think pinup and rock style cross over each others boundaries. Coming from a stylist point of view, neither is a practical day-to-day wardrobe. From a rockers standpoint there are some incredible looks to be found from pinup girls wardrobe.

One of the biggest pieces of pinup style is the corset; now put an embroidered swallow (tattoo image) on each side of the breast and that to me is fabulous rock style. Black mini skirt, red belt, and fishnet stockings and there’s an outfit worthy of any Van Halen show.

Another pinup style that is also rock n roll would be the pencil skirt but not as you would wear in the 50’s it’s an edgy graphic look with a shape hugging hold. Pair the skirt or (wiggle dress) with a 5-inch heel and some tattoo jewelry and you will be the poster girl for rock wear.

I don’t think of leopard when it comes to pinup girl but sure enough, these girls came and took our prints! Animal prints and sterling silver jewelry surely ooze rock n roll and the boundaries once again have crossed each other. Whether it’s an accessory or full blown print on your fabric, you can do your best tiger slink into the rock arena.

Don’t be afraid to venture into pinup girl style, as it closely resembles a good rock n roll outfit with character. Watch the “pinup” wording however, it seems that it is a bit higher priced line of clothing.
